Loyalty Fickle

people can be loyalty fickle

relationships must always be beneficial

so i watch amusing personalities, mimic to be nice

let me be honest I do it sometimes to be liked

most try and many fail at human commitment

connections require work, less when indifferent

so strategy to only semi reveal is intentional

that might be why most friendships are one dimensional

silly me to think someone would prefer a substitute

over the original

even I proceed with caution when what's on display is minimal

my fear of people leaving me after seeing me

but for you I'll expose myself right here in my poetry
